FAVORITE LINKS IN YOUR START MENU
Internet Explorer allows you to keep a list of your favorite Web sites. This makes it faster for you to access these sites. All you have to do is click the Favorites button and click the URL you want to go to from the list that appears in the right pane.
Web sites that you access several times throughout the day can link directly to the Start Menu. Opening the Web site is as simple as clicking on the Start button and selecting the link. You no longer need to open Internet Explorer first. To add a favorite to the Start Menu, open Internet Explorer, and click the Favorites button. Select one of the links and while holing down the mouse button, drag the link onto your Start button.

ADD ANOTHER FILE TO YOUR MICROSOFT WORD DOCUMENT
1.Within your document, click where you want to insert the second document.
2.From the Insert menu, click Insert File.
3.In the File name box, locate the file you want locate and then double click it.

REMOVE STORED PASSWORDS IN VISTA
Vista lets you store user names and passwords so you do not have to enter them each time you use your computer, however, if other people have access to your computer, you might want to remove some of the stored info.You can do it by…
·Click Start and type Run in the Search field. Press Enter.
·Type in rundll32.exe keymgr.dll, KRShowKeyMgr and click OK.
·The Stored User Names and Passwords dialog box will appear.
·You can remove an entry by selecting it from the list and clicking the Remove button.
·Click Close.

To obtain directions to a specific address in Outlook 2007:
1. Once Outlook is open, click on your Contacts folder.
2. Double click a contact.
3. In the Address section, click the arrow and select the type of address you are looking for directions: Home, Business or Other.
4. Select Actions then DISPLAY MAP
Outlook will bring up a map with directions to your contact’s address.

Tech Tips for 09/28/07:
STOP THAT SPAM!!
To decrease your daily dose of spam, select Tools > Options > Junk
E-mail and click the High radio button. To eliminate spam completely, select
the Safe Lists Only radio button to receive e-mails only from the people you
allow. If you are concerned about missing any e-mails, check your Junk E-mail
box regularly.
